With a focus on fundamentals, teamwork, and accountability, the Bulldogs are developing confident leaders and competitors, one inning at a time.

Team Information:

  • Opelika City School Softball Tryout Information Document

    Softball tryout poster with bold text announcing the 2027 season.Softball tryouts will be held at West Ridge Park on May 14, May 15, and May 18 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Attendance is required on all three days.

    Cuts will be made after the second day of tryouts and posted in the linked document here by 8:00 p.m. on May 15.

    Players whose names appear on the posted list will return for the third day of tryouts on May 18.

    Final decisions will be made and communicated as soon as possible.

    An activity bus will be available immediately after school to transport students from Fox Run and OMS to West Ridge Park.

    Students planning to ride the bus must check the activity bus box.

    All players must have a current physical on file.

    Physicals will be offered at Opelika High School on May 6 after school for $10.

    All proceeds will go toward training supplies for athletes for the 2026–2027 season.
